I'm sure they're doing their best
Drew broke Linux, and is mad at his 3D Printer. Paul shares some exciting news about the Podcast. Drew sends his car in for a spa day, and Paul has some thoughts on the current season of Diablo 4. Drew wraps up by sharing his frustration with his HOA.
Paul starts out by talking about getting his haircut. Paul told Drew something so special last week after recording, that they had to talk about it this week: Paul is going to a "Buffy" convention and Drew wants to learn more. Drew asks Paul how he dries his filament. Paul buys a new smart lock and Drew gets mad about the numbers. Finally, the boys discuss the new Mac laptop lineups (hint: they're excited).
It's a Drew-heavy episode as he details some recent "upgrades" around the house. First, the boys visit the ol' Drew's Computer Corner for a new "build" update, and Drew talks about some of the new tools and workflows he's experimenting with. But it turns out, that's not the only thing Drew brought home this week. Paul's psychic: his Eero Signal saves the day. Paul doesn't love Drew anymore and is playing games with other people, oh and also, a game called "Earthborne Rangers."
This week, Paul is drinking bottled water for the foreseeable future, and Drew just wants to be like Paul in more than one way, and talks about his new 3D printer, and how he also used Claude to build something (but not as ambitious or useful). Paul considers the Riverside experiment a success and looks to migrate the podcast over to it completely. Drew starts watching a "new" show. Paul tries out a new internet redundancy device.
Paul gets left out of a campus visit. Drew is still enjoying Meshtastic and is constantly finding new nodes. Drew gives an update on his home heating (or lack thereof) situation. Paul wants to start a business. Drew tries out a new VR headset.
It's been really cold here in Ohio, and Drew's mental illnesses are causing him to make "logical" purchases. Paul's water heater breaks. Paul talks about his latest AI obsession: Claude Code. Drew flirts with the idea of a new VR headset. Drew explores classic Macintosh emulation.
Drew sends Paul a present, in the form of a radio that runs the Meshtastic firmware. The boys gear up for the big snow storm. Paul gives an update on his daughter's burn. Paul gets some new audio gear, and tells Drew about his has a new hobby.
Paul kicks off the Podcast with some emergency news. The boys hit an episode milestone and... don't do anything special (yet). Over the hiatus, Paul taught Drew a new game and he loved it. Paul finds a new piece of media. As the first podcast of 2026, Drew and Paul recap some of their "favorites" in categories they love, such as video games, music, and gadgets. The end the show talking about the fate of Siri.
The boys recap their first session using Riverside, and Paul informs Drew of the show's new social media presence. Paul was in Vegas, and experiences a new (to him) travel experience. Drew provides an update on his new computer setup, and talks about his own cable testing hell. Paul informs Drew of an upcoming game that they are (now) both excited about. Drew needs new smoke detectors.
The boys are back on a new podcasting platform. Paul talks about attempting to edit the previous show (technical problems and all), and during it, we have a special company reach out to us to talk about something Paul made. Paul buys a USB-C cable tester (again). Drew returns with a new Computer Corner, and takes things... horizontal. Paul hates static electricity... again.
