155: I'm sure that Erik will be back on the show
This week friend of the show Erik Darling returns, this time filling in for Paul who is on vacation. Drew starts off teasing Erik with a surprise, and then the two talk about their travels. Erik really wants Drew to buy a watch, and Drew DOES want to really buy a watch so they kick around some options. Erik wants Drew to come visit him. Then, they walk about working out, cigars, and scotch.
154: I'm sure they'll finger their lamp
Drew gets a new lamp, and Paul is mortified. Drew goes on a trip... actually, more than one trip it turns out. Paul wants to know: how do you disconnect on vacation?
153: I'm sure they were worth the wait
Drew is late because he was fiddling with this Nest products. The boys talk about some upcoming summer travel and it stresses Paul out. The boys FINALLY receive their copies of "Blood on the Clocktower" and they disagree on a lot about it. Drew asks Paul about "The Summer of Shadowrun." Paul is sold on Playstation Plus. Drew provides some quick game recommendations to Paul.
152: I'm sure they'll plug the cloud into it
The boys are sweltering under an oppressive heatwave. Paul loses power, and needs a couple new UPS units(uninterrupted power supplies), of which Drew has opinions. Drew reviews his new garage door opener. There's some more Mac-related rumors. Paul is going to Waffle House. Paul provides an update on "The Post-It Note Situation."
151: I’m sure they got the big trip
Paul is recovering from COVID. Drew "contracts a brain eating amoeba." The boys talk about WWDC (dob dob!) and talk about allll the money they are probably (probably?) going to spend. Drew watched "Slow Horses." Sorbet is still not ice cream. Drew reads a statement.
150: I’m sure they have dress shorts
The boys celebrate their 150th episode! Paul talks about seeing a Broadway show while Drew talks about going to a golf tournament. They then chat about Netrunner, a card game that isn't as dead as they believed. Drew shares some news about his dog.
149: I'm sure their butt laser does mouse stuff
The boys provide an update on what they have going on: Paul goes to a concert, and Drew has brunch. Drew get an Internet Mattress. Paul gets a new mouse. Drew wants a custom mechanical keyboard. Drew learns a lesson about light switches and dimmable LED flood lights. Drew talks about "The Unknowns" and his upcoming Memorial Day workout.
148: I'm sure they'll poop in an airplane
Drew is back from his trip, and has several topics: his new luggage experience, his plane rides, and his time overseas. Paul is experiencing pre-Disney angst.
147: I'm sure they won't replace Drew
In a very special episode, Paul talks to Erik Darling. They chat about Erik's experiences with a Mac, and if being a DBA is still a valid career.
146: I'm sure their crank feels good
Paul finds a solution to his audio problems of late. Paul gets his PlayDate and provides a quick review. Drew declares himself a Node.js developer (he is not) and Paul gives him some advice. Drew and Paul plan some trips. Drew has a new maker purchase in mind.
