Drew's quiet for a cooler computer continues, to Paul's glee and amazement so Drew breaks down his thermal breakdown. Paul wraps up his Dungeons and Distancing campaign for his friends (and Drew), and the boys talk about the experience. Fireworks explode during the podcast. Paul gives a shout-out to the "Last of Us Podcast" that's worth a listen. Paul installs some Apple betas (like literally all of them) and Drew is very jealous. Drew announces his Ali-like return to the public speaking circuit.

Drew decides to work on his computer right before the show, and describes the incredibly dumb lengths he'll go through to get cooler temperatures. Paul gives an update on his vacation and impressions of "The Last of Us: Part 2." The boys spend the rest of the show discussing all the big Apple announcements made at the World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC), including the new Apple Silicon changes, Big Sur, and what that probably means for their workflows going forward. Drew shares a very important Kickstarter update.

It's (almost!) Paul's birthday, and it's time to put his long term plans into action as he prepares to play "The Last of Us: Part II." Drew quizzes Paul on all the intricacies of his upcoming long weekend, and if he's excited (he is). The boys talk about some weird video game things. Drew talks about some unique computer designs from NZXT. Paul is startled by fireworks in real time. Drew gets a new green screen, and it sure is something.

Drew rewatches "Fantastic Mr. Fox" which is also one of Paul's favorites, so the guys talk about it and why it's so great and also some bonus Wes Andrerson content. Paul has some... painful updates on his IKEA couch. Drew has questions about CBD and CBD-adjacent products. Paul almost drinks coffee and the boys talk about brewing the perfect cup. Drew talks about ants, and Paul talks about earwigs.

Drew has grievances with his landscapers, while Paul bemoans the lack of live music in his life. Paul teaches Drew a critical new trick in obtaining digital content. Paul orders a sofa from IKEA. Drew "celebrates" one year of not being Paul's employee, and reflects on his first year at his New Employer (caps for emphasis) and a not-year at his old job: what he likes, what he misses, and what he's looking forward to and what kind of work he's gravitating to.

Drew accidentally violates the Geneva Convention in his basement. The boys discuss the live stream: what they liked, what could have gone better, and if they plan to do it again (should they?). Paul's water had poop in it, so he had to boil it for a while and he has opinions. Paul gives a follow-up to his new TV, and also finally lets Drew know he finished the "Watchmen" series on HBO which the boys then discuss (with spoilers). Drew provides an anime review.

The boys celebrate 50 episodes of the podcast with a live stream! The boys recap their time be talking about their favorite moments from the show so far. Paul models his battle jacket. Drew ate pho again finally. Paul is happy comics are back, and tells Drew he's finally watching the "Watchmen" series on HBO. Drew gets a new leather notebook he adores. Finally, the boys talk about big purchase regrets they've had.

Drew buys some new LED lights for his streaming/meeting/broadcasting needs, and he's ashamed of what he's done and tries to think of ways to get them to mount to his desk. Meanwhile, Paul switches to the good microphone for actual work use and it's a game changer. Paul starts the planning (and spending) early for his big birthday bash. Paul is also concerned about some upcoming lab work for his son. Meanwhile, Drew moans about proper 4K support for his Raspberry Pi 4 and using it as a video game emulator, and finally, the boys talk logistics for their upcoming 50th(!) recording, which they'll live stream to all of their 60 listeners.

Drew makes a social faux pas at Target. The boys discuss masking up. Drew has realized he might be addicted to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, while Paul talks about his current gaming habits and those of his son. The MacBook Pro 13" drops, with the new keyboard, and Drew might just have to get one. Paul continues to wage war against Amazon and vows to never give up and to never surrender. Drew talks about working with Apple Motion to design streaming assets. Paul and Drew discuss a special plan for their upcoming 50th episode.

Paul celebrates a Doing Their Best Podcast milestone. Drew shares a domain name he owns and got notified about. The boys check to see how their creepy government front hotel is holding up amidst a pandemic (it's available!). Paul watched Waco and was enthralled, which leads the boys to break down the show and compare its presentation to other sources and other facts. Finally, the boys talk about other big national events that shaped their childhoods, which makes them both pretty sad in the process.
