Drew buys a new washing machine. The boys discuss "Watchmen" because Drew watched the HBO series and loved it, then then they talk more about some other TV series they're looking forward to. Paul buys a new mouse, which leads the boys to talk about their keyboard and mice choices and it leaves Drew a little bit jealous. Drew has been writing code again, and deploying Azure Functions.

Drew plays with his tube. Paul discusses his battle jacket project, and his plans to debut it at an upcoming show. The boys create Spotify playlists for their pets. Drew can't handle his email and asks Paul (and the besties) for advice. Drew gushes about a rug. Finally, the boys talk about what retirement will (eventually) look like.

Paul is stressed at "losing" his desk at work. The boys discuss enterprise-level AV and teleconferencing solutions. Drew visits downtown Detroit, and not only does he not die, he has a wonderful time and discovers an amazingly good comic book store. Paul gives an update on his battle jacket journey. The boys talk about middle school elective courses, and how they both didn't take home economics. Drew owns up to being a hypocrite. Drew sells Paul on Edge Chromium. Paul gets a Yubikey.

The boys are a both a little under the weather, and talk about their ills and how they deal with being sick. Drew and Paul then break down some local tech conferences they're both fond of, and talk about their plans to attend them (or not attend them). Paul begins the process of preparing his Battle Jacket, and talks about his plans to get the jacket, patches, and other accessories he'll need to pull this off. Paul then talks about the /r/BattleJackets subreddit, some studs and spikes he wants to get, and his "fear" of doing his own tailoring work. Drew talks about his "me time" and how getting his head shaved by a professional is as close to heaven as he gets. Finally, Drew puts out a call for help on spending his money.

Paul has some nice feedback from his son's story. The boys talk about health insurance. Drew finished his Saturn V Lego set, and talks about how he (and a lot of people, probably) grew up building and playing with Lego sets. The boys look back on 2019: what they liked, didn't like, and what they look forward to in 2020 (which means pretty much nerd stuff like tabletop games, anime, and video games). Drew talks about his botched attempt at getting a special logo for the podcast.

Drew turned 40 and had a party, and Paul came over to play games. Drew's PC is complete and working, and he couldn't be more relieved. Drew talks about his wonderful new WiFi and how it's all thanks to Paul, but it turns out changing SSIDs isn't as easy as it sounds. The boys get a reader suggestion on smart garage door openers, and Drew talks about his experience owning one (and why it doesn't work right now). Paul talks about his smart lock, and the boys share some thoughts about those as well. Paul opens up about his son's liver transplant, and talks about just how strong he is and how his entire family rallied around him.

Drew is recording on a different computer, and struggles to get the levels and applications working. Drew talks about how his grand plans for a customer water cooling loop didn't quite turn out the way he thought it would, and Paul offers up moral support. Drew was in Seattle and took a nasty fall. The boys exchange Christmas gifts live on the air, and Drew discusses the lengths he had to go through to get Paul's gift on time. Paul talks about his plans for his new gift. Drew isn't sorry about his dog obsession.

Paul talks about his work trip, and discusses a delightful surprise upon returning to his desk. Drew talks about the open source project xrdp, and why he cannot recommend it enough for Linux Desktop VMs. Drew and Paul then discuss liquid cooling a PC, and go into great detail about Drew's upcoming build. Finally, the boys discuss the "overpriced" Mac Pro and how, even as die hard Mac users, it probably isn't "for them" but they'd love to have one.

Drew realizes he's been playing Oregon Trail in real life. Paul and Drew both got to write some DoTet Core and expose their affection for it: Paul is moving a bunch of production code over to it, and Drew is writing it for Cognitive Services integrations. Drew talks about his piecemeal acquisitions for a new home PC build, and Paul discusses the Apple Trade in Program and how it will ultimately lead him (and probably Drew) to a new MacBook Pro. Paul shares a story about an interesting sales pitch.
